**NEW PCB** - Quite possibly the best general purpose programmer around and certainly the best entry level programmer available, the Willem Programmer is based on a tried and true design. Many adapters are also available for different programming applications.

NOTE THAT THE WILLEM PROGRAMMER PCB5.0 REQUIRES A PARALLEL PORT FOR DATA AND A USB PORT FOR POWER (an additional power supply is required for programming voltages over 12.75V, older eproms require this)

Can program EPROM, EEPROM, FLASH, Serial EPROM, Serial Flash and MORE (Vpp 3.6V, 12.5V, 21V, 25V)

Supports CHIPS (EPROM, EEPROM, FLASH, I2C, PIC, MCS-51, AVR, 93Cxx, ISP) and more. Includes an ISP header on the PCB for In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP).

This hardware version (PCB50) is more STABLE than version PCB4.5C and supports 3V3-3V6 SPI Flash devices.* SPI flash chips are found on new motherboards, DVD burners, hard drives etc. Note that if you need to flash or reflash a new SPI device, BIOS chip etc.

It can program up to 10% faster than the Willem PCB4.5C, 20% faster than Willem EPROM Programmer (PCB3.5C) / (PCB4C) and 50% faster than the PCB3B+

Uses the power supply from a USB port or from an optional power supply or plug pack (not supplied)

You can choose between Version PCB3B/PCB3.5 and PCB4.5C using jumper setting if required

Normally, products that have only USB power cannot use VCC> (greater than) 5VDC. This product provides a socket on the PCB, so it can use VCC more than 5VDC. (plugpack/transformer 9VDC not supplied) And, increased programming voltages are selectable by jumper, no modification required. Schematic with jumper settings is supplied.

The back of circuit board is covered by a sheet of perspex and completely protected from a short circuit.
